It is 10 to 20 times faster than that of WIFi, it is capable of transferring large files at <span class="ver" title="Most style guides suggest that single digit numbers be written in letters, e.g.: &lt;i&gt;one, two&lt;/i&gt;, etc.">6 gigabits</span> per second that means it can send the content of a DVD in 15 seconds. This new technology uses 60 gigahertz frequency band. It has a shorter range as compared to the Wifi, but with its speed it is still worthy to try it.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">WirelessHD&#8217;s as well as Wireless Home Digital Interface already test WiGig for in home video transmission. WiGig is expected to be finalized by the end of 2009. It is still in testing stage among mobile phone brands to ensure its compatibility.</p>
