Let us face it no matter how we are satisfied with our jobs; there are times that we experience negative stress (job stress). It is one major factor why many employees are prone to sickness and there are underlying causes to stress. Based on my experience job stress can be brought about by either positive or negative events in the office. I will not deal about positive causes for the meantime and will focus on the negative causes of job stress since this is the type which has a greater impact on employee. Negative events which lead to job stress include the deadlines, boss pressure, overwork or job dissatisfaction or personal problem leads to uneasy feeling. With these causes your job will be affected like committing errors which not normally happens or even could lead to health problems. When you identify that you are experiencing job stress you should immediately take some actions so you overcome it before it can hurt your career. So here are some tips on how to handle job stress.

Dwelling on the good times:
When at stress it is recommended that you dwell on the good times or events that had made you happy in the company. Think of the past that your boss has acknowledge your great job, events that made people appreciated your hard work. With these good times think positive that you could do all of these again and for sure you can regain your confidence.
Stay in a good colleagues:
Job stress can make a person vulnerable, so if you are under stress make sure that you stay away from people who can make you feel low or discourages you. Ignore people that back bites or stay away from loose talks.
Spend time to relax:
At times we get so preoccupied with our job that we forget to pay attention on our needs. We should take a break sometimes, unwind and keeping our mind free from negative thoughts.

One last thing to remember is that work should not limit us from learning new things. We should always find ways to avoid ourselves or our job from becoming monotonous because as soon as this happens fatigue builds up and eventually stress evolves. Let us always upgrade ourselves by learning new skills and find satisfaction from it.

It adds up quickly: If all travelers reduced their load by one pound each, airlines would use up to 33 million fewer gallons of fuel per year. The same principles hold true for cars: Every 50 pounds reduce a vehicle’s fuel efficiency by about one percent, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.

Since the advent of mobile phones more and more people use it. Once it becomes obsolete we tend to keep it or either throws it improperly. Learning how to recycle your old cell phones, accessories, batteries and other mobile device objects can help reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. Before recycling your devices make sure that you have terminated your service contract and that you have removed all personal data from the device.

Here are some tips on how to recycle your old phones

Drop it off: Old cell phone items can be dropped off at some retailers and service providers, including Orange, Cingular, T-Mobile or any mobile service providers in your locality.

Mail it in: Sending your old items to the retailer or service provider is another option

You can also sell your old items on eBay.com or trademycell.com.

There was one time when I experienced slow PC. When I turn on my PC it takes almost 15 minutes before I can access all the programs in it. So I really have to be patient with it. There was even a time when I can finish a cup of coffee before my computer completely starts up.

I admit I’m hooked with my computer but being so patient with it heightens up my temper. I browse the internet most of the time so I really have to somehow make my computer work fast. So the best way to upgrade a slow PC is to have a diagnostic tool in order to determine what the problem of a computer is. I also made a cleanup of my slow PC and so right now it functions normally. If you were like me who happened to have a slow PC, then check out the latest cleaning software in the market today. The best software out there, are the ones that are tested and has been in the market for years. Of course you also need to be vigilant of the fake cleaning software; some websites offer same products but are not really genuine. It turns out they could only make things worse. They could either slow down your PC more or can kill it. So better be safe. As I said there is a way to make your computer function normally. It only takes a cleanup.

I couldn’t resist taking a review of Chinese product in the market. There are so many products branded as Mp5 with digital cameras on it. They are so cheap that we consumer would just grab it because we may think they are just the same with famous brands. Well here is the real score for those Chinese products.

Call my cousin a victim of curiosity. She really persuaded me to accompany her to this retail store that sells Chinese made mp5. She now then picks this Sony-Mp5 copycat, a good looking product with steel cover. Before she could buy it I ask her to try it first, check if the camera works, plays music, etc. Without a second thought she pays for it and we headed home. We uploaded some music about 300 songs for about two hours. After that we took some pictures of ourselves and we uploaded it to my computer. We then realized that the photos were a messed. See below.

Here are some other features:

Supports folder management function and view function

Supports ASF format, ADPCM stereo sound, or convert to ASF format by transfer tools

Browse of photograph format is JPEG format

Set up function: Setup time / calendar, language, game, storage and check memory, game, auto power off

Built-in FM (Optional)

Built-in speaker

Recording sound source: Mic / line-in

Its up to you if you compromise your money with this. Happy Easter everyone!

But did you know that these gadgets have the potential of exposing confidential information if not properly secured. I had a friend who once lost his phone and days later his office-mates got some prank texts saying something about the lost phone. Yep it is true; misplacing your gadgets is equivalent to giving away the private data stored on it. Make sure you always use hard for others to memorize passwords. It may be in alphanumeric to be sure and apply codes to all sensitive information. Remember Protect your Privacy all the time.

Are you familiar of ultraviolet light?

While almost all of us are aware of its damaging effect on our skin. Some of us are not aware that it could also damage our eyes. Latest medical finding shows that UV light can actually harm our vision in the later life.

Some people who spend moderate amount of time under the sun without proper protection can have serious eye complication. UV light exposure can lead to eye muscular degeneration (leading cause of blindness), cancer and cataracts. Eye specialist also found out that even short term exposure to UV could lead to pain, irritation and sensitivity of the eyes.

How to protect our eyes.?

Keep out of the UV light if possible. As much as possible try avoiding the sun from 10am to 4pm. This is the time when UV is so intense.

Wear a hat, cap or something that can cover you from the UV light. A hat can actually protect you from sunburn on the head and reduces the amount of UV that strikes your eyes.

Wear protection for your eyes. Wear shades that are coated with UV protector. They act as sunscreen in the eyes, they reduced or totally block 100% of UV light.

Remember our eyes are so important. Take good care of them as much as you care for your skin. Protect them from UV light.
