The N9 will be available in 16 and 64GB versions, so the 16GB unit is the only option in left in Finland. Whatever stock Nokia is preparing for its Flagship Store in Helsinki, it seems it won’t be enough, because all the available pre-order units will be reserved very soon.

It’s really nice to see the N9 has generated such interest – something the company has had trouble with for quite some time. Let’s hope Nokia will do well on the MeeGo support too, otherwise it will be hard to trust it that much again in the future.

Well, the Monza fella has managed to escape RIM once again and it has gone on a vacation in Greece.

BlackBerry 9860 Touch Monza is the GSM version of the identical CDMA smartphone 9850 Touch Monaco. We already met those two several times this year and there is probably no detail that hasn’t been revealed.

Anyway, the BlackBerry OS 7-based Monza is once again in the news smiling from sunny Greece. Here are the pictures:

The Monza/Monaco duo is supposed to pack a 1.2GHz processor, a 3.7-inch WVGA display, a 5 megapixel camera with 720p video recording and lots of connectivity goodies. As we mentioned above, both should run on the latest BlackBerry OS 7.

According to the roadmap leaked in January, the phones should become available in Q3 this year.

So far, Windows Phone 7 devices have been exclusively powered by Qualcomm chipsets (due to Microsoft’s limiting guidelines, which were revised recently). ST-Ericsson’s CEO however says that they will be one of two chip suppliers for Nokia’s WP7 phones.

The first Nokia devices will use the dual-core U8500 chipset, which has been seen running at 1.2GHz. Things might change by the time these devices come out, but they look to be the first dual-core Windows Phone 7 handsets.

The CEO also said that over the course of 2012 Nokia will release 12 Windows Phone 7 devices that will be based on future versions of the U8500 chipset. He also believes that ST-Ericsson will be a key supplier for Windows Phone 8, yep that’s 8.

The Mango update is v7.5, so Windows Phone 8 is already very likely in the works (and the rumor mill suggests that it and Windows 8 will be closely related).

The U8500 has a powerful Mali-400 GPU, the same as on the Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II.

The Dell Alienware M15x laptop that we mentioned in the beginning of this year is now available for purchase with a new nVidia graphics card, more specifically the GeForce GTX 460M with 1,5GB of memory.

The refreshed version of the Alienware M15x has a price tag of $330 and the other features include an Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 processor, as well as other alternatives for the graphics card: GeForce GTX 260M, GT 240M, ATI Radeon HD 5730, and ATI Radeon HD 5850.

Research in Motion has been in the game for a while focusing many of their BlackBerry  handsets on the enterprise market. However, with the release of their BlackBerry 6 mobile operating system alongside devices like the BlackBerry Torch 9800, their focus is getting much broader. In fact, RIM  has so many different BlackBerry devices on the market that it would be hard not to find a device that would suit your needs perfectly.

Seeing how full touch screen smartphones are all the rage, perhaps the BlackBerry Storm or BlackBerry Storm 2 is for you. Unfortunately, both devices were not received very well by consumers who were not very fond of its clicky touch screen. Despite this fact, rumors have suggested that RIM had forged on with the Storm line up and had planned to launch the BlackBerry Storm 3 at some point in the future.

Unfortunately, for those anxiously awaiting the Storm 3, reports have surfaced today that say RIM has canceled their plans to bring the device to market.

What happens when Apple introduces a square-shaped new iPod and adorns it with an analog watch face  for a lock screen? A whole new cottage industry sprouts up, whereby entrepreneurial types dust off old and mostly worthless watch straps, cut out an iPod nano-shaped compartment in them, and charge you $19.99 for the privilege of turning your tiny PMP into a somewhat bulky wristwatch.

The rumored Motorola EX115 and EX128 have just surfaced yet again. This time we get to find out the release dates and prices of both dual SIM feature phones. Those are expected to start shipping next month and should cost around 100 euro.

The Motorola EX115 will come with a full QWERTY keyboard, while the Motorola EX128 will pack a touch sensitive display (its size and resolution are still a mystery) and both will be able to accommodate two SIM cards at the same time.

Strangely, Motorola EX128 features some sort of a touchscreen UI – so far Motorola hasn’t presented any feature phone operated by touch so the EX128 novelty factor may extend beyond its Dual SIM capabilities.

The two upcoming devices have been spotted on the website of Germanos Romania, a European cellphone retailer, and according to it, they should become available on 18 October. The EX115 is expected to cost less than 95 euro, while the EX128 will be priced at less than 120 euro.

Microsoft has had some trouble in their mobile sector with Windows Mobile. However, with the forthcoming release of Windows Phone 7 the company is looking to change all of that. Featuring a completely revamped user interface that is touch friendly and deep integration with both social networks and popular Microsoft services like Xbox Live, Windows Phone 7 is already shaping up to be a winner and it isn’t even out yet.

Luckily, the platform’s release date is growing ever closer as it was announced today that Windows Phone 7 has officially gone gold. This means that Microsoft’s engineers are completely done working on the platform (for now) and have sent it out to hardware manufacturers who will then install it on devices and ship them to market.

HTC has been pretty busy with the HTC Desire on US Cellular and the Touch G7, but this particular model, the T8788, has been appearing on many tech websites today.

It is believed that this model should be available during the holiday, and might be powered by Windows Phone 7. You will notice that it is a slider, but instead of the traditional QWERTY keyboard, it has a speaker.

What you don’t see is that this phone also has a kickstand, and so it can stand up on the desk and work as an ample PMP.
