JPMorgan Chase & Co. have recently created an iPhone app that allows customers to do some interesting things.
It enables them to take a photograph using the iPhone’s camera of a front and back of a check, and then using this as a basis for a deposit. No more trips to the bank to deposit the paycheck! Granted, this isn’t new, as USAA has been doing this for a while. The Remote Deposit Capture iPhone App works in a similar fashion.
This service is completely free of charge, and is only on Apple’s platform, for now.
