Type 2 diabetes
My boss is suffering from type 2 diabetes that means he could not utilize the sugar in his body because of the lack of insulin. Being diabetic for many years now he makes sure that he continuously takes his medication. He also wears diabetic socks most of the time in order to protect him from any scratches from his shoes. If he accidentally gets bruises or cut the tendency is that the wound will not heal or if it does it will take several months before the wound closes. He only knew he had the disease when he attended a house party of his office mate, the next day the office mate called him telling that that bathroom got infested with ants because my boss pee on it. My boss then rushed to a clinic and had a blood sugar test the doctor then told him that he had a high blood sugar and must be treated immediately. So far, the medication only works for a day and accordingly the disease is irreversible. That means he will carry on the disease for life. He still doesn’t loose hope because for him life has its miracle and he is optimistic he will be healed.
