When I was still a newbie in the internet I make sure that my website is part directory listing so that it will be known in the entire web, by doing so it really helped me attain my website rank, it also generates enough traffic that means it has viewers. Being part of the directory really is beneficial to my sites. Even if there are new networking sites out there I will still continue to patronize directory listing.
