I once brought a PC which was a secondhand one because I ran out of budget before. So I had to configure it first before I can even use it so I tried to reformat it but errors occur often so tendency is I have to restart again. I had many attempts to reconfigure it until such time that I loose hope and just let the old format runs in it.
I learned that this computer was once owned by a company because there were many files installed on it. I found this File Extension QBM which is in the program list of the computer. This is basically a sort of protection of the previous user of the computer. It actually protects the information of the previous user of my computer because I can hardly open it Quickbooks. It is very clever of the first user because they knew that they would one day give up their computer so they set up this security feature the File Extension QBM in order to protect their data. I did get the idea by also installing this File Extension QBM to my computer if ever I have important data to protect. I know that computers do not last long and sometime in the future I might discard my PC so I better secure my data.
