Book Green options. If you’re flying, choose direct flights; thy release an estimated 30 percent fewer emissions than ones with layovers (every takeoff, landing, and taxing uses additional fuel). If you’re driving, you can rent hybrids from Hertz, Avis, and budget at some locations, and Enterprise is offering flex-fuel vehicles that run on ethanol.
Shoot Digital. A digital camera is more Eco-sensitive than a film one if you use rechargeable batteries (and recycle them at the end of their lifespan) and share your photos online instead of printing them.
Pack light. If you pack your bag ten pounds lighter, you save an airplane a half gallon of fuel. It adds up quickly: If all travelers reduced their load by one pound each, airlines would use up to 33 million fewer gallons of fuel per year. The same principles hold true for cars: Every 50 pounds reduce a vehicle’s fuel efficiency by about one percent, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.
I think in reality most ppl would consider the pricing first before anything else including comfort unless they r well heeled
